Clinical work
Dr. Jojczuk graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy, Lublin, Poland in 2002. Beginning in 2004, he has continued his career working in the Department of Trauma Surgery and Emergency Medicine at the same institution. He began as a junior assistant and has advanced to assistant professor. Dr. Jojczuk earned the title of emergency medicine specialist in 2009. Thereafter, he began his specialty training in the field of orthopedic surgery, and as of 2015 became a specialist in this field.
Research and teaching
Along with his clinical work, Dr. Jojczuk continues to develop his research interests. In 2011 he earned his doctorate in medical sciences at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland. Since 2004 he has been a member in good standing of the Polish Society for Emergency Medicine. His continued memberships include: the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (2015), and the Polish Wound Management Association (2018).
Main professional interests
Dr. Jojczuk’s main professional interests include a wide and varied range of subjects related to traumatic orthopedics and emergency medicine. His professional work focuses mainly on minimally invasive surgical techniques in the treatment of joint injuries. A further focus of Dr. Jojczuk is the use of substitute bone materials in post-traumatic bone defects. As of 2005, Dr. Jojczuk has been working in the Emergency Medical Services in Lublin, Poland. Dr. Jojczuk’s educational and instructional activities at the Medical University of Lublin include classes with both English and Polish speaking students. The focus of his subject matter includes: emergency medicine, trauma surgery and first aid.
He conducts his classes in clinical settings, and also utilizes a simulation center as an instructional setting.
